We're Celebrating the Opening of Our New H&M By Giving Away $300 in Gift Cards

Pearls 300.jpgI'm obsessed with finding trendy fashions at rock-bottom prices. Normally, that means carrying a really big bag loaded with coupons, being aware of all the sales (you gotta love e-mail!) and having a strict no-cutting-tags-in case-of-a-price-adjustment policy. Whew, that's work!

But as of Aug. 30, my life gets a lot easier. That's when H&M, one of the world's largest retailers known for offering fashion-forward apparel and quality basics at value prices, comes to our backyard. Well, close enough anyway.

The style-setting superstore's seventh Texas location will be at DFW's Grapevine Mills Mall, only a short hop from our very own Colleywood.

Looks like I just found a whole new reason to shop the largest outlet mall in north Texas.

Costume jewelry like H&M's gorgeous, pearl-and-crystal bib necklace ($17.95) is on-trend for fall.

To celebrate, H&M is:

  • Teaming up with Bob and me to give away 5, great prizes. 1 lucky reader will win a $100 H&M gift card; 4 others will take home $50 H&M gift cards. All the prizes are good at any H&M location in the country. (Check the end of this post for details on how to enter.)

  • Offering monster opening day deals that are even better than usual. Starting at noon that Thursday, H&M at Grapevine Mills will give the first 100 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt and a scratch-off gift card with a value from $10 to $300. And that's on top of many other specials for the whole family.

The H&M at Grapevine Mills will feature collections for women, men, younger women and younger men with separate "store within store" sections for accessories, lingerie, maternity and sports apparel. This location will also carry the Swedish retailer's plus-size line, H&M+, as well as children's sizes from newborn to 14.

Want a budget-friendly way to get take your look to a new level?

We're celebrating H&M's Aug. 30 arrival at Texas' Grapevine Mills Mall by giving away 5, great gift cards from the fashion-forward megastore. Boasting a combined value of $300, these cool, wallet-stretchers work for everyone in the family and can be used at any H&M location in the country.
