Cobalt Blue Necklace Set 274.jpgWant to begin 2014 in style?  The folks at Bijuju can help.

If bling is your thing (color me guilty!!), you'll adore everything from this go-to accessory hotspot.

They've joined us to offer 4 lucky Boomer Babes a chance to win one of the top picks from their vaults of trendy trinkets... FREE. (Check the end of this post for details on how to enter.)

Bijuju has joined us to give away their Oceana Jewel Necklace Set and 3 other outfit makers.

Welcome 2014! We're celebrating the new year with a glam giveaway including 4 stunning statement necklaces from one of our favorite stops for trendy accessories, Bijuju.

Read on for details on how to enter. Contest ends Jan. 23!

You could win one of these 4 glam goodies:

Statement Pearl Necklace Set - Adorned with row upon row of ivory pearls connected by gold links, this stunning collar screams special occasion.  It's a natural hit at showers, weddings and other big events. But why stop there?

Coupling this sure sensation with a bright teal, v-neck sweater; skinny jeans, and boots won a round of oohs and aahs from the girls at my friend Becky's birthday celebration. (Thank you, Bijuju!)

Bijuju's scene-stealing Statement Pearl Necklace Set includes a stunning collar and matching double-pearl danglers.

Statement Necklace and Earrings 600.jpgAnd this scene-stealer comes with matching double-pearl danglers that are just the right size - small enough to take backstage to the necklace but large enough to be noticed. ($34 for the set at Bijuju boutiques and/or Bijuju.com)

Center of Attention Necklace Set - Another chic look, this pretty prize pairs a lone row of classic white pearls with an eye-catching, rhinestone-frosted flower design. Mad Men has me hooked on fashions from the 50s and early 60s so I'm mad about this versatile, Betty Draper-approved style.

It comes with simple rhinestone studs accented with single, white pearl drops that add to the vintage vibe.  All you need to complete this lovely picture is a fit-and-flare dress. You know that's on my list of must-haves for 2014! ($34 for the set at Bijuju boutiques and/or Bijuju.com)

Bijuju's Center of Attention Necklace has a classy, vintage vibe.

Memory Lane Necklace - Guaranteed to make a lasting impression, this elegant head-turner includes three rows of amber, soft yellow, purple and green acrylic crystals that cascade from gold-plated chain. Besides mixing with a rainbow of hues, this dazzling color combination puts you right on trend for 2014 since the color of the year is purple-toned Radiant Orchid.

I'm wild about the look and size of this outfit maker. Although it includes 16 jazzy jewels, the design flatters even those with petite frames like me. Plus, like all the other necklaces in this glam giveaway, it's a breeze to adjust to a variety of lengths. ($30 at Bijuju boutiques and/or Bijuju.com)

The dazzling colors in Bijuju's Memory Lane Necklace are right on trend for 2014.

Multicolored Necklace 600.jpgOceana Jewel Necklace Set - The gorgeous, shimmery acrylic gems in this royal favorite had me at blue. They offer a beautiful splash of cobalt color that commands attention. Wear this blue-and-gold knockout and the coordinating 1.25-inch drops with a neutral top or dress for maximum impact. Paired with a simple sheath, they'll take you from desk to date night with ease. ($22 for the set at Bijuju boutiques and/or Bijuju.com)

Prepare your own Mexican quick fix with this Chipotle-inspired bowl. Carbs are moderated by filling the bowl with beans, extra veggies and chicken. No need for rice, since the beans count as carbs.

Tips:

If you love tomatoes, increase the quantity to 1/2 cup, but note that the carbohydrates will also increase.

If preparing this recipe for one person, cut all of the ingredients in half. Or simply prepare the full recipe up to the end of step 2 and store leftover chicken and vegetable-bean mixture in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, or until heated through, and continue with step 3.

Health Bite: The iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper and zinc in black beans help to keep bones strong and healthy.
